Heilongjiang University of Technology, a provincial public comprehensive undergraduate university approved by China’s Ministry of Education, traces its origin to Jixi University founded in 1984. After several institutional mergers, it was officially upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed in 2013, and passed the national undergraduate teaching qualification assessment in 2021.
